1-2-1 Sessions
We will begin with a 45-minute pre-assessment to get to know your problems and the areas you would like to work on with your dog. After that we will schedule 1-hour sessions either at a location that suits you or at Dooney’s enclosed field.
Group Sessions
Groups sessions are limited to 6-8 dogs per group so please book in advance to secure your place and avoid disappointment.

What we can help with
At Dooney’s Dog Training we can provide private or group sessions that can help with a wide range of behavioral issues and training for you and your puppy or dog including:

Think of them like the basics. Sit, down, stand, stay – the foundation of all training.

No more running out of the front door or jumping out of the car – one of the most important factors when training.

Don’t let your dog take you for a walk – loose lead walking training can stop pulling.

Does your dog come back to you when you call? Work on this by starting on a long line and building up to free running recall, including distraction training.

Not all reactive dogs are aggressive dogs! Reactivity is your dog reacting to anything from people to cars with behaviour including barking, lunging, and cowering.

Counter surfing, urinating in the house, chewing, barking, and guarding are just some of the behavioural issues training can help with.

This isn’t just about making friends, but helping your dog remain neutral around other dogs and animals.

How to settle your dog in the evening, after a walk or when they are just getting a bit too excited.
